I passionately believe in the transformative potential of yoga and all that it offers to those who seek a calmer, balanced and healthier life, whatever your age, ability, shape or size.

Regular yoga practice is scientifically proven to reduce stress levels, and is of great benefit to both mind and body. Yoga helps you to achieve a more peaceful and grounded place in your life, to age well and stay fit and active. I know this from my own personal experience. My yoga practise has been the cornerstone of my recovery from many mental and physical health challenges throughout my life.

Yoga therapy is an evidence-based therapy, underpinned by Neurological and Psychological Science, which helps support recovery from depression, anxiety, trauma and chronic pain. The therapeutic use of yoga (posture and breath work) works on a deep level to support greater understanding and awareness of how we experience and hold stress and emotion in our bodies as well as in our minds, and how this affects our every aspect of our lives (our health, energy, communication and relationships).

Lifecalma Yoga and Therapy blends yoga and meditation, alongside my experience of working as a Psychological and Occupational Therapist across a range of specialist NHS Mental Health services, to make the ancient practise of yoga accessible and helpful for everyone

I teach at local venues in South East London as well as offering private one-to-one teaching and yoga therapy for specific mental and physical health needs. I teach yoga for all levels whether you are a complete beginner, or an experienced yogi wishing to deepen, develop and enhance your yoga practise.

I offer yoga therapy for children, young people and adults of all ages who are experiencing difficulties with their mental and physical health.

I offer private independent Occupational Therapy specialising in Mental Health Recovery from Trauma, Anxiety and Depression.
